Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a therapy designed to promote the function of the lymphatic system. This is achieved by a specific technique that stimulates the lymph nodes and lymph system using gentle rhythmical strokes. The primary function of lymphatic system is to collect an excessive and worn-out lymph fluid (body fluid yellowish coloured) from body tissues and transport it to lymph nodes. They work as body filters, clean the excessive lymph from dead cells, viruses, bacteria, fungi, toxins and other foreign substances. The cleaned lymph fluid is then returned into the blood stream.

Factors of today's lifestyle such as lack of movements, polution, eating habits - low in a nutrients and fiber, causes the lymphatic system become sluggish or blocked.
